Beulah Christian Retreat Disclaimer & Indemnity

“Beulah Christian Trust (“the Proprietor”), its agent/s and/or its employee/s shall not be liable for, and the guest/s hereby waive/s and abandon/s any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, fire, loss or damage of whatever nature, against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.
Whilst every endeavor is made in terms of the above recommendation to provide for the exclusion of an innkeeper’s liability, such liability or exclusion thereof is never absolute and is always subject to a matter of degree and the application of an appropriate court’s discretion. It should also be borne in mind that the court’s discretion is applied judicially but subject to the credibility and worthiness of appropriate evidence.
In the event of participating in fellowship / Ministry / a program facilitated by the guidance facilitators, I agree to the following:
1. The Participants hereby commit to the process in the understanding that it is voluntary, conducted in good faith, fully confidential, and principally process driven. The Participants agree to the role of the facilitator as a guide, to mentor the participant in his/her needs and determine the flow of the process.
2.The Participants acknowledge that their own triggers, unchecked aggression can lead to emotional meltdown, and that the Facilitator is not responsible for the choices the participant will make of their own free will.
3. Should the obligation arise, as a duty of care, to share any such information with welfare, medical, or other authorities, the Facilitator pledges that all Participants will be fully informed.
4. Beulah Christian Retreat will not be liable for any loss of property, injuries and/or other events that might cause dis-ease or discomfort for the Participant.
5.The Participants also consent to the Facilitator and Beulah Christian Trust acting in good faith and with a “DUTY OF CARE” in life threatening situations or medical assistance.
I hereby acknowledge that I enter the premises entirely at my own risk and that I shall have no claim against or its employees in the event of any accident, injury or loss involving me or property in my possession whilst on these premises arising from any cause whatsoever nature arising out of personal injury to me or my dependents or of damage to property in my possession.

Arrival and departure:

The arrival time is from 16h00-18h00 on the date of arrival. The accommodation needs to be vacated by 11h00 on date of departure. (This might change depending on your need and the availability of the facility. For individual retreats, we try to extend the stay over weekends to Sunday late afternoon.)

Please note: We do not have a shuttle service. Guests need to plan their own transport.

No set Prayer- / fellowship times:

While on individual retreat, a person enjoys his/her own time in retreat with the Lord, resting in the spacious accommodation, enjoying the mountain walks and garden. No set fellowship / prayer times. We do check from time to time that you are still comfortable and happy – and trust Father, Son and Holy Spirit to enjoy their fellowship with you.

This is a Private Property

No guests are allowed to have private visitors, unless communicated with management.

Required minimum night stay

Minimum 2 nights accommodation.

Payment

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total cost of accommodation, to confirm the reservation within 3 days of the sending date of this correspondence. Total cost of accommodation needs to be settled 7 days before arrival.

Reference your initials and surname with dates of reservation. Ex: JW Truter, 8-10 Apr 2019. Email a copy of the deposit slip to info@beulahretreat.co.za, together with the signed indemnity form.

To secure your booking:

1) Contact us to check for availability and a description of your need. [ We prefer contacting you personally via Email to better serve you in your specific need ex. Personal retreat / needing a venue for a small group / Prayer Retreat.
2) Management will then send you more information with a quote. Please complete information on the indemnity form sent to you personally.
3) Make the non-refundable deposit payment.
4) Email indemnity document and proof of deposit to info@beulahretreat.co.za. Management will confirm the booking and arrival dates.
